We completed a new roof replacement on this two-story residential home in New Gloucester. Our crew stripped the existing shingles down to the wooden decking to perform a thorough inspection and ensure a solid structural foundation. We meticulously prepared the steeply pitched surface, including the dormers and valleys, to guarantee long-term performance against the elements. For the new installation, we utilized multi-toned architectural shingles paired with RoofTopGuard II synthetic underlayment and Grace Ice and Water Shield. We also integrated low-profile black ridge vents to optimize attic ventilation and updated the flashing around the chimney. The result is a robust, weather-tight roofing system that enhances the home's protection and visual appeal.
