This installation featured Owens Corning Duration® architectural shingles in the popular Driftwood color—a versatile, earthy blend that complements the natural surroundings of the lake. As always, our crew followed our detailed installation process, starting with a full inspection of the roof decking. We installed ice and water shield along all vulnerable areas, including eaves, valleys, and roof penetrations, followed by a synthetic underlayment for full-deck protection. Each shingle was fastened with six nails per nailing hem to exceed manufacturer wind-resistance guidelines.
