Emergency roof installation on this project. Customer was moving from California & received 5 quotes. We advised him to get several quotes and that transparency was the reason he chose our company. Insurance company would not let him wait to replace the roof or they wouldn't insure the property. It had been damaged significantly with algae, moss and had holes in different places. Unfortunately we had to install in the winter time. Our supplier agreed to keep the shingles inside for 3 days prior to the roof installation so we could combat the cold and run the risk of having cold pressed shingles. This project was considerably different, notice the pictures. He had a knewall that extended up the roof, notice the the low placement of the box vents. The project was completed in about 5 hours with 16 sheets of 1/2" plywood needing to be replaced on the roofing system. Customer also decided to have us put copper strips along the caps to help extend the 25 year algae protection with the Hdz shingle.
