Mr. Daniel had a unique issue: he installed a new barn unit in his backyard, but realized it needed to be raised and adequately secured. Due to the size and coastal location in Seabrook, this project required navigating the complexities of both HOA rules and City permits—which is where we stepped in! Phase 1: Planning, Permits, and Approval The first step in any major construction is ensuring compliance. We took the stress out of the paperwork: 3D Planning: We immediately created a detailed 3D plan of the entire project. This visual aid was crucial for securing approvals. Permit & HOA Compliance: We handled the entire approval process, submitting the 3D plan and necessary documentation to the City of Seabrook and the HOA. This ensured the barn was officially compliant with all local codes and community standards. Phase 2: Structural Integrity and Coastal Security With permits secured, we focused on making the barn safe, secure, and ready for its coastal environment: Raising the Barn: We successfully raised the entire barn unit to the required height, protecting it from moisture and ensuring proper drainage underneath. Custom Anchors & Concrete Base: To secure the structure, we built custom anchors with a substantial concrete base. This permanent foundation keeps the unit firmly in place, especially important in a coastal town like Seabrook. Securing the Barn Door: We secured the barn door as requested by the town, further enhancing the unit's ability to withstand coastal weather conditions. Problem Solved!
