Project Case Review: Sunroom Addition, Patio Integration & Drainage Upgrade
For Mr. & Mrs. Sanders, the goal was to expand their living space while creating a seamless connection between the home's interior and the existing patio—without compromising durability or long-term protection. We began by designing and building a new sunroom extension that feels like it was always part of the house. The exterior finishes, siding, trim, and windows were carefully matched to the original structure, allowing the new space to blend naturally with the home. Large windows and an aluminum sliding door bring in natural light and airflow while maintaining easy access to the patio. To support the new structure, we completed concrete framing and walkway improvements, rebuilding the foundation properly from the ground up. Reinforcement, forming, and finishing were all handled in-house to ensure stability, clean lines, and long-term performance. We also addressed stormwater management by installing a new underground PVC drainage system, connecting nearby downspouts and routing water safely away from the foundation and walkways. This step protects both the latest addition and the existing home from future water issues. The result is a functional, bright, and well-integrated sunroom paired with improved drainage and concrete work—an upgrade that adds usable square footage, comfort, and long-term value to the property. 📸 Photos below show how thoughtful planning and proper execution make all the difference.
