We completed a comprehensive deck resurfacing project for this Raleigh residence to replace aged and failing components. Our team stripped the old, dark-stained boards and damaged railings, inspecting the existing pressure-treated joists and foundation supports to ensure structural integrity. We then installed new decking and structural reinforcements to provide a level and secure outdoor living space. We utilized durable pressure-treated lumber for the new deck floor and custom railings. The highlight of this project was the installation of a decorative geometric X-pattern railing, which provides a modern look while maintaining safety and visibility. These upgrades transformed the backyard area into a functional space ready for outdoor dining and entertainment.
