Crawl Space Project and Encapsulation

The client recently moved into a home in Toledo, Ohio and discovered a mold/moisture problem in a hidden crawl space where the access door had been drywalled over. Standing water was present in the crawl at the time of inspection with widespread moisture intrusion through the poured foundation walls. Widespread mold was observed along the wooden structural members. Toledo Basement Repair completed mold mitigation around the crawl space and replaced sections of compromised sill plate beneath the back door and sistered floor joists/tails along the affected area. To prevent future issues, we installed a multi-flow DrainTile system with a sump pump then encapsulated the crawl space, and added an EZ Breathe Air Exchanger.
