We completed an exterior wood preservation project for this New Baltimore home, focusing on the backyard deck and overhead pergola. Our team applied a consistent finish across the deck boards, railings, and stairs to protect the wood from weathering. We also integrated a metal safety gate at the staircase entry to improve the deck’s functionality and safety. We selected a deep wood stain that enhances the natural grain while providing a moisture-resistant barrier for the timber. This treatment was extended to the large overhead pergola structure, which now supports decorative hanging planters. The project resulted in a revitalized outdoor space that offers a clean, uniform appearance against the home’s tan siding and brick foundation.
