Glastonbury Exterior Renovation with Castle Stone Siding & Stone Entry Upgrade
After more than 30 years in their Glastonbury, CT home, these homeowners began experiencing signs that their exterior systems were reaching the end of their lifespan. The existing roof was approximately 25 years old, fascia damage had developed following a recent storm, and a cracked ceiling inside the home indicated potential moisture-related concerns. This project focused on addressing those issues while delivering a cohesive exterior update. We installed a new GAF Timberline HDZ roofing system to provide reliable, long-term protection, replaced deteriorated fascia components, and installed a new gutter system to improve water management and help protect the home moving forward. The exterior was updated with CertainTeed Monogram siding in Castle Stone, a timeless color that complements the surrounding Glastonbury neighborhood while offering improved durability and reduced maintenance. During the project, the original plan for the front porch was modified from board and batten siding to Tando stacked stone in Glacier Bay. This change created a more defined and visually balanced entryway, adding texture and contrast that elevates the overall appearance of the home. The result is a complete exterior renovation that not only resolves underlying performance concerns but also enhances curb appeal with materials designed to withstand Connecticut’s seasonal conditions.
