We performed extensive wood rot repair and structural remediation at this hotel property in Franklin KY. Our team identified areas of significant water damage behind the exterior facade and around the PTAC air conditioning units. We removed compromised OSB sheathing, water-damaged insulation, and rotted wall studs to restore the building's structural integrity. We installed new pressure-treated lumber framing and fresh fiberglass insulation to ensure long-term durability. The project involved careful coordination around window units and exterior brickwork to address moisture intrusion points. By replacing damaged materials and sealing the wall cavities, we provided a stable foundation for the interior finishes and exterior stucco.
