For this Nashville, TN project, U.S. Exterior Solutions installed a high-performance sealant along the horizontal V-groove joints of the existing EIFS system. The goal was to provide additional flexibility at these transition points and help minimize the potential for cracking as the EIFS system experiences normal movement and expansion over time. The joints were carefully prepared and sealed to create a clean, finished appearance while providing an added layer of protection to the existing EIFS system. This preventative maintenance approach helps extend the life of the exterior finish and reduce the likelihood of future cracking and water intrusion at vulnerable joint locations.
