We performed an extensive wood rot repair and exterior restoration for this residence in Nashville. After stripping back sections of the existing stucco and vertical siding, we identified and removed significant water damage and wood decay affecting the underlying plywood sheathing. Our team addressed these structural issues around the balcony doors and large window frames to prevent further moisture intrusion. To ensure long-term durability, we installed new sheathing and integrated DuPont Tyvek HomeWrap as a high-performance weather barrier. We utilized specialized sealants and adhesives to protect critical transition points before restoring the exterior finish. This remediation process not only repaired the visible damage but also fortified the building envelope against the elements.
