We completed an attic insulation project in Chattanooga focused on improving energy efficiency and thermal regulation. Our team addressed the knee wall access points by installing custom-cut insulation panels to seal off openings that frequently contribute to air leakage. These updates provide a more consistent climate within the attic space while maintaining necessary access for storage. We utilized GreenGuard XPS insulation boards for their high moisture resistance and thermal performance throughout the installation. Each access panel was fitted with brass hardware to ensure the foam boards functioned effectively as lightweight, insulated doors. This targeted improvement creates a stronger thermal barrier and helps reduce the home's overall energy consumption.
