We installed a new basement egress window for this Lincoln residence to improve safety and emergency accessibility. Our team replaced the previous window unit with a white-framed sliding pane, providing significantly better natural light for the finished lower level. This project focused on creating a code-compliant exit while maintaining the integrity of the interior living space. On the exterior, we constructed a new window well using textured grey blocks and installed a sturdy metal escape ladder. We added reddish-brown gravel to the base of the well to ensure efficient drainage away from the foundation. The result is a functional safety upgrade that adds value and security to the home.
