We conducted a comprehensive structural and mechanical audit of this unfinished basement in Mead to prepare for future development. Our team mapped the layout of the exposed TJI 210 engineered wood joists, metallic HVAC ductwork, and existing electrical and PEX plumbing lines. We also evaluated the integrity of the central steel I-beams and concrete foundation walls to ensure everything was ready for the next phase. Why did the basement go to the doctor? It had a case of exposed joists and needed a checkup for its structural health. This assessment provided the precise documentation needed to transition this space from its current raw state into a fully realized living area.
