We completed an interior framing and window installation project for a residential basement in Wellington. Our team installed new white-framed sliding windows within unfinished wooden wall studs, providing essential natural light and ventilation to the space. We also performed wall framing and installed vapor barrier insulation to prepare the interior for future finishing. Outside, we installed corrugated metal window wells with gravel bases and protective mesh covers to ensure proper drainage and security. The project also involved coordinating with existing overhead ductwork and ceiling joists to maintain the structural integrity of the room. These foundational updates significantly improved the basement's functionality and set the stage for a complete living area conversion.
