We completed a series of interior updates for this Waukesha home to improve both functionality and style. The centerpiece of the project was the installation of a custom dark-stained sliding barn door featuring a traditional Z-brace design and heavy-duty black hardware. We also replaced the existing ceiling fixture with a five-blade wood-grain fan that includes a vintage-style cage light housing. In addition to the door and lighting, we refreshed the room’s trim and built-in features. This included updating a bay window assembly with dark-painted trim and an integrated wood bench seat to create a cohesive look with the new door and modern gray walls. The result is a more organized and visually unified living space that better reflects the owner's aesthetic.
