Ethical Flipping w/ Luke
I have a question regarding our recent permit application process. When we applied for the permit, it was approved, and we were allowed to submit payment. However, we later discovered that additional steps were required—steps that were not communicated to us at any point. We had no indication that further action was needed and assumed that because we had paid, everything was in order. No one from your office reached out to inform us of these additional requirements. Instead, we had to contact you ourselves to learn about them. As a result, we missed the window to schedule a rough-in inspection, and our team is now pouring concrete this morning so our client can proceed with their remodel. Can you clarify why we were permitted to pay before all requirements were met and why there was no proactive communication from your office? This lack of transparency caused delays and unnecessary confusion, and we want to ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future. After talking with him, it was clear we were a great fit for each other! Looking forward to your response.
