We completed a full roof replacement on this two-story residential home in Merritt Island. Our team removed the weathered, streaked asphalt shingles and performed necessary repairs to the roof deck, including replacing damaged OSB and plywood panels. We also reinforced the structural framing with metal mending plates and gusset brackets to ensure long-term stability. For the new installation, we utilized gray architectural shingles paired with high-performance Titanium UDL synthetic underlayment and Flintlastic SA self-adhering membranes for superior moisture protection. We integrated new ridge vents, skylights, and metal drip edges to optimize ventilation and drainage. The final result provided the property with a durable, weather-resistant roofing system designed for the Florida climate.
