We completed a comprehensive roof replacement for this Palm Bay residence, transitioning the home from weathered asphalt shingles to a durable standing seam metal system. Our team performed a full tear-off down to the rafters, addressing damaged plywood decking and installing new structural framing components. We also integrated hurricane ties and metal strapping in the attic to ensure the structure met modern wind-load requirements. To provide superior waterproofing, we applied Polyglass Polystick TU Max self-adhered underlayment across the entire deck before installing the white standing seam metal panels. We carefully integrated the existing solar pool heating system and sealed all roof penetrations, including the chimney and skylights, with custom flashing. The finished project offers significant thermal efficiency and long-term protection against the Florida elements.
