This project focused on simplifying the layout and updating finishes throughout the home to create a brighter, more cohesive space. The foyer underwent a major transformation, with the removal of decorative tile accents and heavy architectural details for a cleaner, more open entry. The home was repainted in a lighter palette to enhance natural light and improve flow. In the kitchen, new backsplash served as the primary update, helping tie the space together. Updated light fixtures were installed in the dining area, foyer, and hallway. The existing barn door was repositioned to the opposite side of the opening to the living room and updated with a modern design. The result is a brighter, more streamlined home with cleaner lines and a more contemporary feel.
