ZAM installed a 24kW Generac generator with a whole house automatic transfer switch and cold weather kit. The main grounding system was updated, including bonding to the cold water line and installation of an intercommunication bonding bridge. A whole house surge protector and load shed module for the AC circuit were added. The existing manual transfer switch was removed. Approximately 90 feet of generator wiring was run along the side of the home. The system passed inspection and power was restored. A full walk-through was completed with the customer, and the weekly exercise test was scheduled. The installation includes a 10-year parts and labor warranty.
