Zenith Roofing Services completed a tile roof lift and lay in Carlsbad, CA, renewing the underlayment beneath a flat tile roof while preserving the home’s existing tile appearance. We carefully removed and stored the tile, installed two layers of Titanium UDL 50 synthetic underlayment, completed the standard waterproofing details for the roof system, and reinstalled the existing flat tile. The finished roof kept its clean, consistent roof lines while receiving a renewed underlayment system below. A tile roof can still look good from the street even when the layers underneath are aging. A lift and lay is designed to renew those critical layers without automatically replacing usable tile.
