We completed a commercial single-ply roofing installation for this Chipotle location in Escondido using a mechanically attached WeatherBond 60 mil TPO roofing system. The existing roof assembly was prepared for a new energy-efficient membrane system designed to provide long-term waterproofing performance and durability for the commercial property. The project included installation of new high-density insulation to improve roof strength, substrate performance, and overall system stability beneath the membrane. Our team then installed the WeatherBond 60 mil single-ply TPO system with mechanically attached fastening and professionally heat-welded seams to create a durable watertight roofing assembly. While PVC roofing systems are often preferred for restaurant applications due to their resistance to oils and grease exposure, this project was completed according to the approved building plans and specifications provided by the general contractor. The WeatherBond TPO system selected was the system specified for the project and installed per manufacturer requirements and commercial roofing standards. This new roofing system provides the building with a clean reflective surface, improved energy efficiency, and a durable commercial roofing assembly built for Southern California conditions.
