Mission Bay TPO Roof Replacement with Porch Conversion

We completed a full flat roof replacement for this porch and slash room conversion project in Mission Bay after removing the existing tar and gravel roofing system. Once the old roof assembly was removed, our team prepared the roof deck and installed high-density insulation to improve energy efficiency and overall roof performance. The new roofing system was installed using a mechanically attached 60 mil WeatherBond TPO membrane designed for long-term durability and waterproofing protection. We also installed clad edge metal around the perimeter of the roof system to create clean, secure edges and improve drainage performance. To strengthen the waterproofing system, Water Block sealant was applied at critical transition areas and penetrations to help prevent moisture intrusion. The completed roof system now provides a clean modern appearance, improved insulation value, and a durable low-slope roofing solution for the converted living space near the coast.
