Zenith Roofing Services recently completed a full roof replacement and tile-to-shingle roof conversion in San Marcos, California. The homeowner elected to replace the existing tile roof with a new architectural shingle roofing system to improve long-term maintenance, performance, and curb appeal. As part of the project, our team removed the existing roof tiles and performed structural repairs where needed. Damaged plywood was replaced, deteriorated fascia boards were removed and replaced, and multiple rafter tails were repaired to restore the roof's structural integrity before installation of the new roofing system. Once the repairs were completed, we installed a high-performance underlayment system and Owens Corning Duration Cool architectural shingles in the Night Sky color. The finished roof provides durable weather protection, improved energy efficiency, and a clean, updated appearance.
