This project involved restoring an existing torch-down roofing system using a premium Uniflex Silicone 44 coating system. The roof was thoroughly pressure washed to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants, ensuring proper surface preparation and maximum coating adhesion. Prior to applying the coating, all seams, penetrations, transitions, and open areas were reinforced and sealed using OneFlash sealant to provide additional waterproofing protection in critical areas. To maximize durability and service life, Uniflex Silicone 44 was applied at approximately 3 gallons per square, which exceeds the traditional application rate of 1.5 gallons per square commonly used in many restoration projects. The increased coverage provides a thicker, more robust waterproof membrane designed to enhance long-term performance and weather resistance. The completed restoration renewed the roof's waterproofing capabilities, improved UV protection, and extended the service life of the existing roofing system while avoiding the cost and disruption of a full roof replacement.
