Zenith Roofing Services completed a large tile roof lift and lay in Vista, CA. The existing tile was carefully removed and stored so the waterproofing system beneath the roof could be renewed while preserving the home’s original tile appearance. We installed two layers of Titanium UDL 50 synthetic underlayment, replaced the necessary flashings, and reinstalled the existing tile across the roof. On a large tile roof, keeping the work organized and the roof lines consistent is a major part of the job, especially when working across long, continuous slopes. Tile itself sheds most of the water, but the underlayment and flashings beneath it are the primary waterproofing layers. A tile lift and lay allows those critical layers to be renewed without replacing a tile roof that still has usable tile.
