Our team installed R-15 fiberglass batt insulation within the floor joist bays of the crawl space to improve energy efficiency and comfort inside the home. Each section was secured using industrial-grade staples and support straps, ensuring proper placement and long-term stability. We also enlarged two crawl space vent openings in the existing concrete foundation to accommodate owner-supplied ventilation units. Openings measuring 8” x 16” were carefully cut using an angle grinder, drill, and chisel to achieve clean, precise access points. This project enhanced thermal performance, moisture control, and ventilation throughout the crawl space—helping protect the structure from humidity and energy loss.
