We completed a full roof replacement on a steep, two-story home in Belton, TX after the property suffered hail damage and debris-related decking issues. The impact compromised the roof’s structure, and several areas of decking required repair before new materials could be installed. For this project, we installed CertainTeed Belmont IR shingles in the Weathered Wood color. These premium shingles feature added reinforcement on the underside of the fiberglass mat, giving them a Class 4 Impact Resistance rating—the highest available. This added strength provides superior protection against hail and enhances long-term durability. The result is a beautifully upgraded roof designed to withstand severe Texas weather while improving the home’s curb appeal and overall resilience.
