Elite Services Group recently installed an air source heat pump for an elderly couple, replacing their existing gas boiler with a cleaner, more efficient heating system. A key feature of this project was integrating the heat pump with the customer’s existing solar PV and large battery storage, allowing low-cost off-peak energy charged overnight to be used throughout the day. Combined with the Homely smart thermostat, which optimises the system around smart tariffs, the home now enjoys reliable comfort, significantly lower running costs, and a future-proof renewable heating solution.
