Project in Potomac

February 2026

Capitol Iron Works recently completed the fabrication and installation of a custom iron railing for a residential project in Potomac, MD. This project involved designing a functional and decorative safety solution for an exterior porch and staircase, ensuring the new metalwork integrated seamlessly with the home's existing stone masonry. The client required a custom-fit solution for a multi-level stone porch and stair area with specific dimensions (approximately 12'-2" in total length). We provided precision railing that were verified in the field to match the unique elevation changes of the stone steps, ensuring a perfect fit and professional finish. This Potomac project highlights our ability to deliver high-end custom metalwork that balances safety with ornamental design. By handling everything from field measurements to final installation.
