A Full Home Interior Refresh with Layered Color and Custom Details
This was a large scale interior project that touched nearly every room in the home, blending soft neutrals, deeper accent tones, and detailed trim work to create a space that feels cohesive, thoughtful, and lived in. Our crew, led by Jose S, handled extensive preparation and careful execution across bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and built in features. Interior Highlights Living Room and Dining Room: Walls were painted in Benjamin Moore Windborne White FB239 (flat), creating a bright and airy foundation that allows natural light to carry through the space. Crown molding, baseboards, chair rail, doors, and window frames were carefully refinished in Windborne White FB239 (semigloss) for clean definition and durability. Vestibule and Connecting Hallways: These transition spaces were refreshed in Windborne White FB239, helping create a smooth visual flow from room to room. Trim, chair rail, crown molding, and multiple door frames were detailed in matching semigloss finishes to maintain consistency throughout the home. Library with Built Ins: The library became a standout space. Built in shelves, trim, doors, and window frames were painted in Joas White FB226 (semigloss), while the backs of the bookcases were finished in Hague Blue FB30 (satin), adding depth and contrast without overpowering the room. The wood countertop and detailed arches were also refinished for a polished, intentional look. Bedrooms: Each bedroom was given its own personality while staying within a cohesive palette. The primary bedroom walls were painted in Modern Gray SW7623 (flat), with trim, doors, and window frames finished in Modern Gray (semigloss) for a tailored look. The guest bedroom and closets were refreshed in Oxford Stone FB264 and Windborne White, creating calm, comfortable spaces with clean lines. Bathrooms and Office: Bathrooms and the office were fully prepped and painted using appropriate products for durability and moisture resistance. Ceilings were refreshed throughout with Promar Ceiling Paint Windborne FB239, keeping every room feeling clean and finished from top to bottom. Preparation and Craftsmanship This project involved extensive prep including wallpaper removal, patching, skim coating, sanding with dust controlled systems, priming, and careful protection of all surfaces following Groovy Hues’ No Liquid Rule. Doors, trim, shelves, and built ins received detailed attention to ensure smooth finishes and consistent color throughout the home. Jose completed a final walkthrough to confirm clean lines, smooth coverage, and a cohesive result across every space. ✨ This project highlights how layered neutrals, bold accents, and detailed prep can come together to completely refresh a home while honoring its character.
