Capitol Iron Works completed the fabrication and installation of a custom steel railing for a residential project in Gaithersburg, MD. This exterior project was designed to enhance both the safety and the curb appeal of the home’s entryway. Design Style: Traditional design featuring ornamental S-scroll accents for a classic, decorative touch. Structural Components: The framework is built for maximum stability using 1" x 1" steel square posts and a decorative molding top bar for a comfortable and elegant grip. Infill Detail: The railing features a 1" x 1/2" x 1/8" steel bar channel construction, providing a sturdy and timeless aesthetic. Finish: Finished with a professional conventional black paint over a powder-coated base to ensure long-lasting durability against the Maryland elements.
