Bathroom Renovation
For this hallway bathroom renovation, our team helped transform the layout to create a more open and functional space. The project began with several structural modifications, including removing the door between the vanity area and the toilet area and framing the opening to create a seamless, continuous wall. We also modified the dividing wall between the two spaces, converting it into a half wall and trimming the top for a clean, finished appearance. Additional updates included removing the existing door and frame between the bathroom and the adjacent bedroom and framing the opening on both sides to permanently close off that access point. Throughout the bathroom, we repaired sheetrock where needed, including addressing nail pops on the ceiling and repairing the wall after removing the large mirror above the vanity. The bathroom vanity was refreshed by sanding, priming, and painting the cabinet doors, drawer faces, and cabinet frames in white, giving the space a bright, updated look. We also replaced the cabinet hardware and installed new mirrors and updated light fixtures provided by the homeowner. To improve ventilation, a larger bathroom fan was installed above the toilet area. Once all repairs and modifications were complete, we painted the walls, ceiling, and trim throughout the entire bathroom to give the space a clean, cohesive finish. After the main renovation was completed, we returned at a later time to complete the finishing touches. This included assembling and installing a new cabinet, installing a glass shower door, and mounting bathroom accessories including a towel holder, toilet paper holder, and hand towel holder. Tile and plumbing work for the project was completed by our trusted partner, JACO Contracting. This project is a great example of how thoughtful layout changes, fresh paint, and updated fixtures can completely refresh a bathroom while improving both functionality and appearance.
