Roof Inspection – New Bern, NC
NC Roofs performed a full exterior roof inspection along with an interior and attic evaluation in response to a reported leak. The roofing system is intact and in like-new condition. No storm damage, penetrations, or deficiencies were identified that would indicate an active roof leak. Interior findings revealed moisture on the ceiling; however, further attic inspection determined the source to be a detached dryer vent duct. This allowed warm, moist air to discharge into the attic, creating condensation that affected the surrounding insulation and ceiling area. The observed condition is not related to a failure of the roofing system, but rather the result of improper dryer venting. No roofing repairs are recommended.
