We recently completed a professional garage floor coating system for a homeowner in Jenison, Michigan who had just purchased their new home and wanted to upgrade and protect their garage floor right away. Our team started with mechanical concrete preparation, grinding the surface to achieve the proper profile for maximum coating adhesion. Any minor imperfections were addressed to ensure a smooth, uniform surface prior to installation. We then installed a polyurea base coat across the entire garage floor, followed by a full broadcast of 1/4” decorative vinyl flakes in the color (Creekbed FB-716). This creates a durable, slip-resistant, and visually appealing finish. Once cured, we scraped and vacuumed the excess flakes before applying a polyaspartic clear topcoat to seal and protect the system. This final layer provides long-term durability, chemical resistance, and easy maintenance—perfect for a residential garage environment. The end result is a seamless, high-performance floor that not only looks great but is built to withstand daily wear and tear.
