We completed an exterior restoration project on a residential wooden deck and staircase in Sioux Falls. Our team focused on addressing the weathered and peeling surfaces of the elevated deck, vertical balusters, and the descending staircase. We prepared the wood by removing damaged finish and addressing areas where the original stain had begun to chip or flake away. During the process, we identified several treads with significant wear and exposed wood grain that required thorough preparation before applying a new protective finish. We worked around the existing landscaping and patio area, ensuring the structure was properly sealed to withstand the local climate. The project resulted in a refreshed appearance and enhanced durability for the home’s primary outdoor transition space.
