Capitol Iron Works recently executed the custom fabrication and installation of a exterior iron handrail for a residential property located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Our team focused on enhancing the accessibility and safety of the home's entrance. A traditional, minimalist aesthetic featuring clean vertical support and a comfortable grip. The post is constructed from 1" Square Steel, secured with a 4-inch mounting plate to ensure a rock-solid connection to the masonry. The entire unit is treated with a conventional black paint finish, providing a timeless look that protects the steel from the elements. The homeowner required a secondary point of contact for their rear brick steps. We provided a low-profile yet incredibly durable solution that integrates seamlessly with the existing architecture without obstructing the walkway
