Capitol Iron Works recently completed a fabrication and installation project for a residential property in Falls Church, Virginia. This project focused on the extension of an existing stair railing system to enhance safety and architectural continuity for the homeowner. The installation includes a custom-fabricated "L-shaped" extension measuring approximately 55 inches to provide a continuous handrail for the exterior steps. To ensure a clean finish and protect the integrity of the existing masonry, we utilized a specialized railing concept that avoided any drilling or repairs to the landing brick.
