Escondido Partial Shingle Roof Replacement with Skylights and Gutters
We completed a partial shingle roof replacement for this Escondido home after identifying that the active leak issues were isolated to specific roof slopes and valley sections. While we generally avoid small spot repairs because they often become temporary fixes that fail over time, this project was a strong candidate for a larger sectional replacement approach that provides a more reliable and cost-effective long-term solution. Our team performed a full three-layer tear-off in the affected areas to remove the failing roofing materials and properly prepare the roof for a new roofing system. Instead of attempting isolated patchwork repairs, we replaced complete slopes and valley transitions to create a more dependable waterproofing system and improve the overall integrity of the roof. As part of the project, we also replaced aging skylights and installed new red rain gutters that added both function and curb appeal to the property. The completed project gave the homeowner a durable roofing solution, improved drainage, and renewed protection in the areas most vulnerable to leaks without requiring a full roof replacement.
