We completed a retractable awning installation at a residence in Traverse City. Our team mounted the white awning frame directly to the home's siding, positioning it over the low-profile composite deck. This project focused on providing reliable shade for the outdoor living area adjacent to the sliding glass entryway. The installation featured a manual crank system for easy operation and a white fabric that matches the home’s exterior trim. The awning now provides significant sun protection for the light gray composite decking and creates a more functional space for the homeowners. This addition allows for comfortable outdoor use even during the brightest parts of the day.
