PVC Fascia & Corner Board Replacement — Billerica, MA
A long-term upgrade for a homeowner tired of repainting and replacing rotted wood trim. We carefully detached and protected roughly 90 linear feet of existing gutters and downspouts (no need to replace them — they were still in good shape), then removed all the failing wood fascia underneath. In its place we installed 1" nominal PVC fascia boards across the full 90 feet, plus 68 linear feet of 5/4" PVC corner boards integrated cleanly with the existing siding. PVC doesn't rot, doesn't absorb water, and doesn't need repainting — so the substrate behind the gutters stays sound for decades. All joints, seams, and fastener penetrations were sealed for a weather-tight finish. Once the new trim was in, we reinstalled the original gutters onto the new fascia, re-pitching them for proper drainage and securing every hanger so the system performs the way it should. The result: a maintenance-free trim package that solves the rot problem at the source, gutters reset to drain correctly, and a clean finished look — all backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty. Estimated project investment: $6,320
