We completed a comprehensive marble restoration and polishing project for the Cathedral Basilica in Mobile. Our team worked throughout the nave and sanctuary to restore the luster of the historic stone flooring, removing surface wear and soil residue. This process involved professional-grade mechanical polishing across the central aisles and elevated altar areas to achieve a uniform, mirror-like finish. The project featured large-format white-and-grey-veined marble tiles alongside intricate brass inlays. We carefully polished these decorative elements and the surrounding dark green marble borders to ensure every detail was preserved and enhanced. The final result highlights the natural depth of the stone while providing a durable, high-gloss surface that reflects the cathedral’s architectural grandeur.
