We completed a comprehensive residential energy upgrade featuring the installation of a new and advanced battery storage system. Our team mounted a Tesla Powerwall 3 along with a Powerwall 3 Expansion unit to provide the homeowner with reliable backup power and energy independence. The project involved integrating the battery units with an existing solar configuration and upgrading the electrical service panels to accommodate the new solar circuits and main disconnects. We utilized durable exterior-rated conduits to connect a Square D safety switch and an SMA Sunny Boy solar inverter to the system. The main electrical panel was modified with dedicated breakers to manage the energy flow, and we finalized the installation by commissioning the system via the Tesla monitoring interface. This robust setup ensures the property remains powered during outages while maximizing the use of renewable energy generated on-site.
