We completed a full roof replacement on this single-story home in Rockledge to address aging materials and improve structural integrity. After removing the original brown shingles, we conducted an extensive assessment of the wood plank roof deck. We performed necessary repairs to the subflooring and integrated new plywood sections where the existing boards were no longer sound to ensure a solid foundation. The updated roofing system features durable gray architectural shingles and an improved ventilation layout with new ridge vents. We meticulously worked around existing features including the skylights and the decorative copper-roofed cupola to ensure a seamless, watertight finish. This project restored the home's weather resistance and provided a clean, modern aesthetic for the neighborhood.
