We completed a multi-phase light commercial build-out for this warehouse space in Parksville, focusing on the construction of a heavy-duty wood-framed mezzanine. Our team installed structural floor joists, plywood subflooring, and interior partition walls to create functional office and storage areas. We also handled the plumbing rough-ins, which required precision trenching into the existing concrete slab for new drainage lines. The project utilized a combination of dimensional lumber, plywood sheathing, and steel structural connectors to ensure long-term durability within the industrial shell. We integrated fiberglass batt insulation for thermal efficiency and installed custom plywood sliding barn doors for a practical, space-saving entryway. The final stages included the installation of dark wood cabinetry and luxury vinyl plank flooring, transforming the raw industrial unit into a fully equipped workspace.
