Architectural Shingle Roof Replacement and Chimney Flashing in Amelia Court House
We completed a full roof replacement for this home in Amelia Court House, addressing significant moss growth and debris accumulation. Our team stripped the weathered shingles and inspected the underlying roof deck for damage. We identified and replaced several sections of compromised plywood to ensure a solid structural foundation for the new system. We installed a high-performance underlayment followed by charcoal gray architectural asphalt shingles. To prevent future leaks, we replaced the old step flashing and integrated new counter flashing around the masonry chimney. The project concluded with the installation of a continuous ridge vent system to improve attic ventilation and long-term durability.
