Oceanside Tile Roof Lift & Lay – LifeTile Underlayment Replacement Description: Zenith Roofing Services recently completed a tile roof lift and lay project in Oceanside, California. The existing LifeTile roof tiles were carefully removed and stacked to allow access to the aging waterproofing system beneath. During the project, sections of deteriorated roof decking were identified and repaired to provide a solid foundation for the new roofing system. Once the deck repairs were completed, our team installed a premium two-layer Titanium UDL50 underlayment system with additional protection provided by Polyglass PSU self-adhered underlayment in all valleys and critical water-shedding areas. After the waterproofing system was completed, the existing LifeTile roof tiles were reinstalled, preserving the home's original appearance while restoring the roof's long-term weather protection. Scope of Work: • Lift and remove existing LifeTile roof tiles • Perform necessary roof deck wood repairs • Install two layers of Titanium UDL50 underlayment • Install Polyglass PSU self-adhered underlayment in valleys • Reinstall existing LifeTile roof tiles • Final cleanup and debris removal This project provided the homeowner with a renewed waterproofing system while maintaining the beauty and character of the original tile roof.
