Residential Roof Replacement and Two-Story Porch Addition in Oxford
We completed a residential roof project in Oxford that involved both structural framing and a full roof replacement. Our team constructed a two-story wood-framed addition and porch onto the existing white brick structure, integrating a new masonry chimney stack. We also removed damaged roofing material to prepare the home for a complete exterior upgrade. We installed new oriented strand board roof decking and LP TechShield radiant barrier sheathing to improve thermal efficiency. The roofing system was built using GAF FeltBuster synthetic underlayment and finished with multi-toned architectural asphalt shingles. We paid specific attention to the chimney transitions, installing custom crickets and flashing to ensure a watertight seal against the masonry.
